Rachel Sperry is an artist based in Portland, Maine. She was born in New York City and grew up across New England. She received a BFA in Printmaking from Washington University in St. Louis. Her work has been published in Mother Tongue magazine, New York Times Opinion, MAAKE magazine and Out of Eden’s Kitchen. The name of Sperry’s creative studio: NUUFORM, came from her father’s phrase that an invention needed to be New, Useful and Unobvious. When not working in the studio she is most likely running after her toddler.
